Bit of Casual Trailwork

Been really struggling to find time for a formal build day this month with so much happening in Newcastle.
As usual there are quite a few smaller jobs that need doing around the trails so I'm hoping to hold a couple of casual 'drop-in' style sessions of an afternoon this week.
At this stage I hope to be around the start of Kennys tomorrow (Monday 20.11.17) from about 3pm. The small drop-off after the first L hander needs rebuilding (again) and there are a few 'potholes' forming along the trail.

So if anyone has a bit of time to lend a hand please just drop in. There'll be no sign-on or forms - you'll be responsible for yourself - so wear some shoes and gloves - yellow Trail Alliance shirt if you have one. I'll supply tools.

I will confirm and add any further info during the day tomorrow so watch this space or FB.

Cheers, Mick.

Can't make it by 3pm but might be able to lend a hand a bit later, what time will you be finishing up?

OK, it's on for this arv (Mon 20.11.17) I'll be there from about 3pm, on Kennys and working my way along the trail. Hope to be done by around 530pm.

Went pretty well with just a small turnout we managed to fix the drop-off and a new ramp/manual bump at the Telstra pit plus some drainage work - thanks to the guys that turned up. Might do this again later in the week so keep an eye out.

As I mention before I want to get some more of the small jobs done this week so will be heading out tomorrow arv. Thurs 23.11.17

Will be working around the Kennys Chute area from about 3pm - for a couple of hours.
Call in if you have some time to help out.

Cheers, Mick.

Got quite a bit done. Pesky puddle at the bottom of the Chute sorted and a fix on the rock armouring at the top of the Chute. well done.
