This is commonly know as 'snowflake lacing'... pretty, huh?
Most wheel builders are slightly odd. Once you start twisting spokes into pretty patterns you need to be 1 part genius 3 parts insane just to work out correct spoke lengths...
thats fkn nuts... surely that can't be strong? any engineering development on those or is that just for shits and giggles?
